The Retail Operations and Transformation team support in-store operations, checkouts and SAP across our three retail banners.  Monitoring a range of important metrics, the team are also involved in new store openings, ownership changes, and various business initiatives.
 
Te Tūranga – About the role
As the Technical Regulatory Analyst, you’ll work with our stores and suppliers to provide technical guidance around the regulatory process, ensuring that Foodstuffs North Island meet the regulatory and moral requirements for every New Zealand customer.
 
You’ll play a key role in contributing to the technical standards used to manage and guide regulatory services for Foodstuffs North Island and our suppliers.
 
Key pieces of work include:
·       The coordination and assistance to store throughout the product recall process.
·       Provide guidance and technical support in the systems and the regulatory dashboard (supported by power BI) that manage the regulatory process.
·       Manage the data that goes into the system to provide accurate data for relevant stakeholders to drive and instigate required action points.

He kōrero mōu - About you
You’ll have worked with and will have a thorough knowledge of the Food Act 2014, Food Regulations and the Food Standards Code. With great stakeholder management, you’ll be comfortable with the tough conversations and will be able to influence difficult situations.
 
Ideally you’ll also:
·       Be organised with good forward planning and will have strong communication and systems management skills.
·       Have experience or demonstrated potential to manage and develop data source solutions and templates, e.g. Power BI, Excel, etc.
·       Be courageous and prepared to make decisions in support of the business.
