Te Tūranga – About the role  

As a Quality Assurance Engineer - Supply Chain, you will be responsible for championing best-practices in SAP / EWM testing and ensuring delivery excellence across Agile squads.
You will be a key contributor to our QA Practice, advocating for quality outcomes, and driving automation and continuous improvement in customer value delivery.

In this role, you will:
-      Actively contribute to the achievement of Agile sprint goals by delivering expert-quality testing in SAP /EWM squads.
-      Develop and execute Micro Test Plans to validate user stories within each sprint.
-      Design and implement Macro Test Plans to ensure end-to-end testing of quarterly BRP features and integrations.
-      Foster proactive collaboration and engagement within delivery squads.
-      Support, build, and enhance test automation frameworks, delivering on our automation-first strategy.
-      Engage with the QA Practice to evaluate and adopt emerging testing techniques, technologies, and principles.
-      Operate within the FSNI QA Strategy while recommending improvements for enhanced delivery.
-      Advocate for quality delivery and contribute to sprint commitments beyond traditional testing roles.
-      Maintain and improve the integrity of test environments.

He kōrero mōu - About you

You’re a highly skilled SAP / EWM QA professional with deep experience across supply chain and retail processes. You are comfortable designing and developing automated test scripts, managing complex test data, and driving integration and end-to-end testing within Agile delivery squads. Your analytical mindset and attention to detail ensure defects are efficiently identified, documented, and resolved, while your strong communication skills allow you to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams.

You’ll bring:
-      Extensive SAP testing experience, particularly in Retail (Planning and Merchandising, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales and Distribution, Financials).
-      Experience testing EDI and third-party vendor integrations, including IDocs, APIs, and interface queues.
-      Proficiency in Fiori Apps and front-end testing across devices and environments.
-      Comprehensive knowledge of SAP implementation lifecycle, functional design, and system architecture.
-      Experience designing and/or developing automated testing scripts to evaluate SAP and WMS implementation functionalities
-      Proven experience in Agile delivery with strong communication (verbal and written), collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
-      Strong analytical skills to solve complex problems and extensive experience in defect management and resolution.
-      Experience in test data management and integration testing.
-      Hands-on experience with test artefact management tools (e.g. HP ALM, qTest, Xray, Zephyr, TestRail, etc.) and knowledge management and documentation tools (e.g. Confluence / Sharepoint).
-      Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of mentoring team members.

It’s a bonus if you also have:
-      Experience with Tricentis TOSCA or similar Automated testing tools.
-      Experience with non-functional testing in SAP (e.g. load/performance testing)
-      SAP certification (any module)
-      Experience with Jira, Jira issue life cycle, and Jira dashboards and reporting
-      Experience in the FMCG industry
-      Experience with core WMS processes and integrations (e.g. Goods Receipt, Putaway, Picking, Packing, Replenishment, Loading, Dispatch).
-      Experience with core TMS processes and integrations in Supply Chain systems (e.g. Order Management, Transportation Planning, Transportation Execution, Freight Costing & Settlement).
-      Strong understanding of Distribution Centre (DC) operations.
-      Hands-on experience with hardware / device testing.
