Job Overview

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for accurately processing, monitoring, and reporting the organization’s inventory levels to ensure optimal product availability while minimizing costs. This role follows established guidelines to manage all aspects of physical inventory, including analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.

The Inventory Coordinator collaborates with multiple departments—such as procurement, manufacturing, and warehouse operations—to maintain accurate inventory records. Key responsibilities include generating daily inventory reports, resolving transaction discrepancies, and ensuring system accuracy in compliance with finance and organizational standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Carry out cycle counts and data analytics, research, and response for variances.
  • Scrutinize and analyze inventory issues and apply LEAN methods to prepare recommendations for policy/process improvements related to inventory tracking and accuracy.
  • Responsible for analyzing data and generating monthly dashboards/reports to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinating with other departments to resolve discrepancies.
  • Work cross-functionally, becoming a subject-matter-expert in multiple areas of each department.
  • Abide by all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
