Machine Operator I

This is a 2nd Shift Position

Responsibilities:

• Operate one (1) machine, including ProMach Panther printer lines or Fortna Plus equipment systems according to established Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Job Safey Analysis (JSA) procedures.
• Monitor printer and conveyor performance, making adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal operation.
• Perform routine setup tasks on equipment to ensure smooth operation and prevent downtime.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance technicians for repairs when needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to prioritize workload and ensure timely processing of orders.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized safe work area.
• Visually inspect package labels; comparing labels to standard “sample” and works to resolve any discrepancies.
• Alerts supervisor to any problems with production levels, and/or quality standards.
• Operates equipment to ensure efficiency and production standards are met.
• Comply with safety regulations (OSHA and Company) and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Ability to learn new skills.
• Perform all duties as assigned or needed.
• May lift cartons of approximately 50 lbs.  to perform duties – team lift available, as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Prior experience operating automated equipment and conveyor systems preferred.
• Familiarity with any equipment Human Machine Interface (HMI) or similar automated control systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while performing repetitive tasks.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
