Job Overview

  • Prepares the production floor for daily production.
  • Monitors hourly/daily production.
  • Review production processes for accuracy and quality requirements.
  • Train/maintain training of team member in processes.
  • Monitors team members or production machines for improvement suggestions.
  • Communicate with associates, supervisors and other key business stakeholders effectively including start of shift meetings, shift turnover communication ex. reports/emails.
  • Assist with material loading and unloading as necessary from PIT equipment.
  • May be required to stock lines as needed.
  • Assists production operators as necessary.
  • Meets area KPI metrics as assigned by area.
  • Assists in training associates as needed and offers feedback on performance issues.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area through 6S standards.
  • May plan and organize the execution of daily schedule and staffing needs.
  • Responsible for identifying and implementing improvement ideas in work area.
  • Works through conflicts efficiently.
  • Coaches and addresses policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or GED.
  • Must be able to lift 45 pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to create a positive teamwork atmosphere through work ethics and habits.
  • Ability to coach and develop production associates when needed.
  • Conflict management and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of computers and programs (SAP, Microsoft Office)
  • Associates can have no written disciplinary warnings within six (6) months of posting date.
  • Associates cannot have less than 17 hours of UTO.
  • Associates must be able to work 8+ hours per day and 40+ hours per week.
