Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming raw materials to verify they meet quality standards and specifications
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of coated materials for defects, surface finish, thickness, and other quality attributes
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company quality criteria
- Set up and calibrate testing and measurement equipment to ensure accuracy
- Monitor production processes, such as coating and printing applications, speed, and temperature, to maintain quality
- Conduct workstation audits and equipment inspections for proper operation and cleanliness
- Maintain accurate records of quality tests, inspections, and product data
- Document any defects, issues, or non-conformance identified during the quality control process
- Prepare detailed reports for management and engineering teams on quality performance
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Ensure that all production activities and quality control procedures comply with safety and cleanliness standards
- Participate in shift-start and shift-end Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities including cleaning and inspection of process equipment
- Other duties may be assigned by Supervisor or Engineering Team members concerning issues that affect the performance or quality of the line.
