Part-Time Contractor – Mechanical Parts & Supply Chain Support

Fourier Earth is seeking a detail-oriented part-time contractor to support the sourcing and procurement of critical mechanical parts and supplies for our hydrogen systems. This role will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and operations to ensure the timely, cost-effective delivery of components needed for development and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Source and order critical mechanical parts, materials, and supplies
  

• Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers
  

• Track orders, lead times, and delivery schedules
  

• Monitor and track procurement budgets and cost targets
  

• Maintain clear purchasing documentation and records
  

• Communicate proactively with internal teams and external vendors
  

• Assist with inventory management
  

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of mechanical components, materials, and assemblies, with the ability to identify and source appropriate parts
  

• Strong organizational and vendor coordination skills
  

• Comfortable managing multiple orders and priorities in a part-time capacity
  

• Clear, professional written and verbal communication
  

• Familiarity with engineering workflows and hardware development environments is a plus
