About the Role

FD’s Finance team supports global operations with financial planning, reporting, accounting, and operational needs. You will be joining a function that is a strategic priority for the firm and will have opportunities for specialized training, development, and accelerated career advancement. FD India is currently seeking a Senior Executive to join our Finance team.

This role is going to live in Accounts Receivable function, and the employee will report to the Revenue Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Apply incoming US customer payments via multiple bank accounts (ACH, wires, checks, Lockbox) to Accounts Receivable in practice management system daily
  • Match payments to outstanding invoices daily
  • Reconcile posted cash receipts to bank deposits daily
  • Resolve unapplied cash receipts and partial payments
  • Work with Revenue Manager on discrepancies

Critical requirements - High degree of precision/attention to detail in posting cash, ability to manage large volumes of transactions and tight daily deadlines (especially around month-end), strong audit trail discipline, and reconciliation mindset.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Cash App experience for US companies (professional services industry is a plus).
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college/university
  • Strong research and writing, Excel modeling, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to balance multiple engagements, play a positive role in well-functioning and collegial client service teams, maintain professionalism, and provide excellent client service
