SAP Developer Team Lead

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Developer Team Lead with strong expertise in ABAP and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to lead development activities on SAP S/4HANA projects within an international environment.

The role is open to both permanent employees and contractors. The successful candidate must have excellent English communication skills, be willing to travel within the EU and internationally, and be comfortable working with multicultural teams. Experience in the oil & gas industry is an advantage but not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver SAP development activities using ABAP in S/4HANA environments
• Act as hands-on technical lead while guiding and mentoring SAP developers
• Design and develop solutions using SAP BTP (extensions, integrations, cloud services)
• Ensure development follows SAP best practices and clean core principles
• Perform code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and project stakeholders
• Support planning, estimations, and delivery commitments
