Pricing and Procurement Manager
Job Overview
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective pricing strategies to maximize profitability and competitiveness.
Support the sales team with accurate and timely pricing quotations.
Negotiate freight rates with carriers and build strong relationships with overseas agents.
Identify and develop new trade lanes to expand service offerings.
Lead and manage group RFQs for ocean and air freight.
Negotiate with suppliers (e.g., warehousing, trucking, packaging, etc.) to secure competitive procurement rates and terms.
Monitor supplier market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing options.
Prepare regular reports on commercial performance and development.
Ensure compliance with QMS standards, especially in pricing and product management.
Collaborate with HSSE to conduct supplier vetting and audits.
Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance.
Optimize procurement strategies to support effective cash flow and inventory management.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across pricing and procurement functions.
