Sales Coordinator

GAC Shipping (India) Private Limited is looking for a Sales Coordinator for its Kolkata branch. Could it be you??

Main Purpose of the job:

To support the sales team (for both air and sea products) by preparing quotations, coordinating with operations and vendors, managing customer documentation, and ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities are:

• Handle Enquiries & Follow-up

  Manage sales coordination for Sales/Projects & Energy departments by handling enquiries and following up with clients regularly. Ensure timely response to enquiries and increased business conversion.

• Coordinate Pricing & Quotations

  Liaise with the Pricing team for buy rates, prepare GF quotes, and share with clients. Act as the primary support contact for sales executives. Follow up on quotations and support deal closures.

• Post-Business Coordination

  Coordinate with agents and operations team once business is secured and keep clients updated on shipment status. Liaise with operations, customer service, and finance teams. Support smooth handover from sales to operations after order confirmation.

• Payment Follow-up

  Follow up with clients for payment once shipments are completed.

• Reporting & MIS

  Prepare sales reports, pipeline updates, and quotation analysis.
