Shipping Agency Manager - Spain

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Shipping Agency Manager to lead our operations in Bilbao, one of the most strategic ports in the Atlantic. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of vessel agency services, ensuring efficient port calls, regulatory compliance, and exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all port agency operations for vessels calling at Bilbao.

• Coordinate with port authorities, customs, immigration, and other stakeholders.

• Supervise and support a team of shipping agents and administrative staff.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation for vessel arrivals, departures, and cargo handling.

• Maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, and local service providers.

• Monitor operational KPIs, budgets, and cost control measures.

• Ensure compliance with Spanish maritime regulations and international standards.

• Manage emergency situations and resolve operational challenges effectively.

• Provide regular reports to senior management and contribute to strategic planning.
