Job Overview

·       Manage and open import shipment files based on pre-alerts received.

·       Prepare and send Cargo Arrival Notices (CANs) with accurate Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) details to importers.

·       Coordinate Electronic Delivery Orders (E-DOs) with importers / Customs House Agents (CHAs) to ensure smooth cargo collection.

·       Prepare sales invoices, coordinate customer approvals, and provide hard copies where required.

·       Process and record supplier invoices and submit payment/remittance documents to our Accounts team.

·       Maintain and upload complete shipment documentation in our documentation and operations system.

·       File Import General Manifests (IGMs) and submit House Bills of Lading (HBLs) in accordance with shipping line requirements.

·       Coordinate with shipping lines, container freight stations (CFS), CHAs, consignees, customers, GAC offices, and other stakeholders to complete documentation and shipment formalities.

·       Monitor shipment progress, update Daily Status Reports (DSRs), and provide timely updates to customers.

·       Review shipment costs and revenue, ensure all documentation is complete, and close jobs within defined timelines.

·       Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all import documentation and operational activities.
