The Role
You will play a pivotal role in shaping Gain’s insights strategy and driving thought leadership for private markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of flagship content: Author end-to-end comprehensive industry research, leveraging Gain’s proprietary data to deliver compelling reports, whitepapers, and market insights across a range of mediums, including long-form reports, newsletters, chart of the week, and more.
Shape the narrative: Uncover transformative trends, identify actionable opportunities, and craft data-backed stories that resonate across the private equity ecosystem.
Strategic partnership: Collaborate with the marketing and leadership team to align content strategies with business objectives, driving lead generation and brand visibility.
Mentor and guide: Provide leadership within the QIG, inspiring excellence and fostering skill development among team members.
What You Bring
We are looking for a seasoned researcher with:
A proven track record of publishing high-impact industry research or insights, with expertise in data visualization and storytelling.
A deep understanding of financial markets, private equity, or M&A. (CFA charterholders or candidates with advanced finance degrees preferred)
7+ years of relevant experience in investment, finance, or data-driven research, with demonstrated ability to operate independently.
Proficiency or strong interest in tools like Python, SQL, and advanced data analysis platforms.
Unmatched attention to detail along with outstanding communication skills to articulate complex insights and build industry credibility.
