About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Designer to join our team in a highly visible role with big impact. As Senior Designer, GALE will be your primary client. You will be responsible for creating stunning visuals across two core functions:
Brand & Comms: Support our brand and communications team by developing creative for all GALE brand assets, inclusive of our agency website, brand presence across all relevant channels, organic and paid social content, case studies, office spaces, and event activations.
Additionally, you will be expected to help us evolve and improve our brand and growth design process in partnership with the Associate Design Director.
What you have:
· Extensive experience as a designer, preferably in a mid-level design position.
· Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in creating captivating multi-channel brand work.
· Proficiency in industry-standard software, such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Firefly, ChatGPT, and other emerging design tech.
· Solid understanding of design principles, composition and visual storytelling.
· Strong knowledge of typography, color theory and graphic design principles.
· Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in an in-person and remote team environment.
· Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team and clients.
· Attention to visual details.
· Ability to remain focused under pressure within a fast-paced environment. A love for learning new things and exploring new formats.
· An ambition and desire to make game-changing and breakthrough visual design.
What you will be doing
· Work with a wide range of media, graphic design, and visual software.
· Knowledge of layouts, design fundamentals, storyboarding, storytelling and typography.
· Contribute to the direction of and work within our branding guidelines.
· Think creatively and develop new concepts.
· Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
· Amend final designs to gain full approval.
Work as part of a team with copywriters, designers, video editors, and creatives.
Work with internal teams to translate their communication intent into visual form.
