Accounting Lead (AP/AR)
A well-established agriculture company is seeking an experienced Accounting Lead to oversee its Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. What You’ll Do
Lead and oversee the AP and AR departments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliations
Review workflows and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and internal controls
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, management, and external partners
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to AP/AR staff
Support month-end close activities and reporting as needed
What We’re Looking in the Accounting Lead
Proven experience overseeing AP and AR functions
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
Experience in agriculture, crop management, or a related industry is a plus
Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable in a deadline-driven environment
