Job Overview

- Categorize lifting activities as routine, non-routine, critical, or complex.
- Select suitable cranes, lifting equipment, accessories, and lifting methods.
- Verify crane capacity, load weight, radius, ground conditions, and environmental factors.
- Conduct site inspections and pre-lift meetings before starting lifting activities.
- Coordinate with lifting supervisors, crane operators, riggers, banksmen, HSE personnel, and construction teams.
- Ensure lifting equipment and accessories have valid third-party certification and inspection records.
- Confirm that all lifting personnel are trained, competent, and certified.
- Monitor lifting operations and ensure compliance with the approved lifting plan.
- Stop any unsafe lifting activity and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain lifting plans, inspection records, equipment registers, and certification documents.
- Participate in incident investigations, toolbox talks, audits, and safety meetings.
- Ensure emergency and rescue arrangements are available for critical lifting operations.
