Role Overview
The Financial Controller will take ownership of all financial reporting and control activities across the Group, working closely with the CFO, CEO and Global CXM team. You will oversee consolidated group accounts, manage a UK finance team, and provide oversight and support to operational managers.
You will play a key role in building scalable finance processes, improving systems and controls, and delivering high-quality management information to drive performance and support growth.

Role Overview
The Financial Controller will take ownership of all financial reporting and control activities across the Group, working closely with the CFO, CEO and Global CXM team. You will oversee consolidated group accounts, manage a UK finance team, and provide oversight and support to operational managers.
You will play a key role in building scalable finance processes, improving systems and controls, and delivering high-quality management information to drive performance and support growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the UK finance team, while providing financial oversight and coordinate international finance operations.
- Own the preparation and consolidation of monthly management accounts across all group entities/branches, with clear variance analysis and board-level commentary.
- Oversee the group year-end process, preparation of statutory accounts, and coordination with external auditors.
- Manage the group budgeting and forecasting cycle, working with local teams to produce accurate and aligned financial plans.
- Maintain strong financial controls and governance across all jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with relevant local accounting standards and group policies.
- Oversee cashflow management and forecasting, including intercompany reconciliations and FX considerations.
- Ensure accurate and timely tax, VAT and compliance reporting across multiple territories.
- Work closely with the CFO to prepare board packs, investor reports, and provide financial insight to private equity stakeholders.
- Lead the integration of acquired entities from a financial control and reporting perspective.
- Drive process improvements, system enhancements and standardisation across the group finance function.
- Provide strategic and commercial finance support to the wider business, supporting decision-making and growth initiatives.
Qualifications/Experience
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Group Financial Controller, ideally in a private equity–backed or multi-entity international environment.
- Strong technical accounting skills with experience in group consolidation and multi-currency reporting.
- Excellent understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to translate financials into actionable insight.
- Hands-on, pragmatic, and comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced environment.
- Strong systems knowledge (e.g. NetSuite, or similar) and advanced Excel capability.
- Excellent communication skills, able to build trust with both operational teams and private equity investors.
