Junior Accountant

GlobeMed Levant (sister company of GlobeMed Group), the largest Healthcare Benefits Management company in the MENA region is looking for a Junior Accountant to perform standard accounting functions and practices such as journal entries and maintenance, cost analysis, reconciliation, posting, and other related tasks required, under general supervision of the Accounting Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Record journal entries and ensure proper filing with supporting documents.
• Handle daily bank transactions; prepare bank transfer letters; and work on the bank reconciliation.
• Prepare and deliver checks to suppliers.
• Prepare payment planner and bank movement.
• Conduct proper and periodic reconciliation of accounts (Banks/AP/AR…).
• Handle and manage petty cash transactions.
• Issue monthly and quarterly invoices and prepare billing report of invoices billed to G-Operations.
• Review the travel request form, prepare travel advances and reconcile travel expenses statement.
• Handle a proper and accurate filing for accounting and other related documents.
• Assist in the cost accounting functions and tasks as assigned.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related and other administrative duties as assigned.
