A lovely family based in Lausanne is expecting their second baby in January 2026 and is looking for a professional and experienced Maternity Nurse to support them during the first few months after the birth.
Position Details
- Schedule: 24 hours per day, 6 days per week

Responsibilities
- Provide full maternity and postnatal care for the newborn
- Establish and maintain feeding and sleeping routines
- Guide and support parents in all aspects of newborn care
- Ensure the baby’s comfort, hygiene, and safety at all times
- Handle baby-related nursery duties (bottle sterilizing, laundry, etc.)
- Offer advice and reassurance to the parents while respecting their wishes and parenting style
Requirements
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Maternity Nurse or Newborn Care Specialist
- Proven track record of newborn and postnatal care experience and checkable references
- EU passport or valid Swiss work permit
- Professional, discreet, and adaptable personality
- Excellent knowledge of newborn routines, sleep patterns, and feeding support
- Fluent in English
