Get to know the Role

The Senior Network Engineer is expected to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) covering network technology deployment and support. The role is required to participate in developing network strategy, standards, technology roadmaps, and network deployments.

The Day-to-Day Activities

• Design, build and maintain the Grab network across SEA region, Romania & USA. The network is built on Juniper, Fortinet, Cisco , F5, WLAN, SD-WAN, IOT and cloud based solutions (AWS/Azure).
• Support IT network infrastructure-related work, WiFi APs, network upgrades, office builds, expansions, and relocations.
• Develop reference architectures, design principles, and other artifacts in compliance with enterprise standards, ensuring solutions are optimally designed, secure, well performing, and integrated with other solutions.
• Actively participate in engaging with Business Stakeholders, internal GTS Teams, and Vendors to manage the outcome of the projects.
• Lead network design and actively participate in operation reviews in the Change Management process.
• You will take part and lead problem-solving efforts, service restoration, minimizing downtime and outages.
• Actively drive knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within and outside your organization.
• Liaise with ISPs and vendors to provide required services and infrastructure for a successful site launch.
