Procurement Governance & Intelligence (G&I) at Grab plays a crucial role in Procurement as they are responsible for Procurement policy, Procurement processes and procurement platform at Grab globally. The Procurement G&I team work on different projects and deliverables, some of which are short-term, medium-term, and long-term. These projects aim to simplify processes, improve reporting,maintaining the policy and process design and improvements, authoring SOPs, platform enhancement, and new systems assessment and testing.

The Manager, Governance Strategy & Risk is a strategic enabler within the Procurement Governance & Intelligence (G&I) team, focused on shaping and embedding the Source to Contract governance, risk, and ESG agenda across Grab's Procurement function. You will translate Procurement strategy into workable standards, policies, and playbooks, and ensures that risk and sustainability considerations are integrated into day-to-day procurement operations.
You will report to and work with the Head of Procurement G&I to design frameworks, process, oversee supplier risk management, and act as a deputy on governance matters. You will complement the Procurement Business Process & Systems PIC by focusing on policy and risk content while ensuring these are operationalized in Oracle Procurement and third party risk management workflows.
This role is onsite, with regional scope across all Grab entities.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Policy & Playbook Development: Lead creation and updates of procurement policies, playbooks, and decision frameworks to support Category strategies.
- System Integration: Co-design rule sets in Oracle tools (Sourcing, TPRM, Contracting) to align with procurement policies.
- Risk & ESG Frameworks: Develop supplier segmentation and risk models, ESG onboarding requirements, and standard contract clauses with Legal and Sustainability.
- Governance & Compliance Monitoring: Manage governance dashboards and serve as the primary contact for policy queries and exception handling.
- Change Management & Training: Drive training, content refresh, and stakeholder enablement for new policies, systems, and processes.
- Performance Insights & Communication: Publish governance updates, adoption surveys, and performance insights to improve compliance and cycle times.
