Get to Know the Role

The Intern, GrabAds will work with the GrabAds Cambodia team to support client strategy, campaign planning, and performance analysis. This role is for individuals who aspire to become future GrabAds Client Leaders – leading and growing account relationships, shaping media investment strategies, and driving revenue growth.

You will gain exposure to client engagement with our GrabAds clients, strategic media planning, partner management, campaign design and implementation, post-campaign analysis.

This role is based on-site, reporting to Head, Partnership & GfB.

 

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

Client Strategy & Account Exposure

  • Support the GrabAds Cambodia team in developing client advertising and media strategies aligned with the brand's and our goals.
  • Participate in client engagements, including preparation for meetings, presentations, and post-meeting follow-ups.
  • Assist the GrabAds team in understanding client goals, category dynamics, competition, and investment priorities.

Media Planning & Campaign Design

  • Contribute to strategic media planning across GrabAds solutions (in-app, fleet ads, offline activations on Mobility, GrabFood, GrabMart, GrabGifts, and related channels).
  • Support campaign design by aligning targeting, formats, and objectives to client Goals.
  • Help develop proposal and pitch materials that articulate goals, value, strategy, performance expectations, and commercial outcomes.

Campaign Implementation & Performance Analysis

  • Support campaign setup and implementation in collaboration with Regional Ad Operations and other teams.
  • Track campaign performance, translating data into clear recommendations.
  • Help prepare post-campaign reports and business reviews, focusing on insights and optimization opportunities.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with team members including Client Leads, Ad Operations, Commercial, Marketing, and related teams.
  • Gain hands-on exposure to stakeholder management across departments, understanding how campaigns move from strategy to execution.
  • Support coordination for integrated and multi-format campaigns

Commercial & Revenue Enablement

  • Support account planning and revenue tracking for assigned clients or categories
  • Help identify upsell (promo subsidies), cross-sell (GrabGifts), and repeat investment opportunities based on campaign performance and client needs.
  • Contribute to programs that support commercial excellence, revenue growth, and long-term client partnerships.
