Junior Chef

As a Junior Chef, you will will work under the guidance of the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to assist in food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items as directed by the Sous Chef
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and sanitation
• Help with inventory management and proper storage of food supplies
• Participate in menu planning and preparation of daily specials
• Contribute to the presentation of dishes to ensure a visually appealing outcome
• Support the kitchen team during service hours and assist where needed

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a culinary role or relevant training
• Passion for food and willingness to learn
• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
