The Grenada Airports Authority (GAA) invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for the position of Aeronautical Information Service Cadet at the Maurice Bishop International Airport (MBIA). This entry-level role provides an exciting opportunity to launch a career in aviation services, with specialized training to become a certified AIS Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in collecting, verifying, and disseminating aeronautical information following ICAO standards.
- Support the preparation and distribution of Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs).
- Process and transmit messages for flight operations, including delays and cancellations.
- Assist in managing documentation such as General Declarations, movement sheets, and flight plans.
- Monitor specialized systems such as SPATIA and CADAS, reporting faults or irregularities.
- Assist with collecting fees related to airline operations (landing, parking, navigation, etc.).
- Maintain accurate shift logs and reports, including daily reconciliations.
- Support administrative tasks within the AIS office.
Requirements
- Five (5) CXC/CSEC passes (Grade 3 or above), including English Language, Mathematics, and Physics.
- Willingness and ability to travel overseas for required training.
- Knowledge of a foreign language is an asset.

- Must possess a clean character certificate.
