The Grenada Airports Authority (GAA) is seeking dynamic, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Customer Service Representatives at the Maurice Bishop International Airport (MBIA).
This position plays a key role in ensuring that all passengers and visitors enjoy a seamless and positive airport experience.
Customer Service Representatives are responsible for welcoming and assisting passengers, responding to inquiries and concerns, and providing general or specialized support as required.
As the primary point of contact between the travelling public and the Grenada Airports Authority, the Customer Service Representative helps to create a professional, efficient, and customer-centered environment at MBIA.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist passengers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide information on airline desk locations, departure gates, and security procedures.
- Assist passengers with special needs, small children, and non-English-speaking customers.
- Respond promptly and politely to customer queries and complaints.
- Support special services such as protocol duties for government officials and VIPs.
- Inspect terminal areas to ensure cleanliness and report any issues for follow-up.
Requirements
- Five (5) CXC/CSEC passes (Grade 3 or above), including English Language.
- Customer service training is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Attention to detail and basic computer literacy.
- Knowledge of a foreign language or sign language is an asset.
- Ability to interact tactfully and professionally with diverse individuals.
