The professional staff of the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice are committed to best practice, innovation and continuous improvement, and as a high-performing team we provide outstanding professional support to the School's learning and teaching, research and engagement activities.

We are looking for a highly organised Administrative Support Officer who will play a key role in supporting the effective and efficient operations of the School through exceptional administrative support.  

The role is integral to the team supporting a range of functions including providing administrative assistance to the Head of School, supporting sessional engagements and academic excellence programs, as well as providing support and assistance to Academics, HDR Candidates, and Honours students.

The position includes general administrative support across a range of functions including health and safety, IT, financial, human resource processes as well as facility coordination, for this reason, the appointee should have the capability and flexibility to redeploying their efforts as needed in a dynamic and constantly changing work environment. 

This role is an on-campus position and requires the successful applicant to work on site.

What we can offer
This is a continuing, full-time position primarily based at Griffith University Gold Coast. This role is an on-campus position and requires the successful applicant to work on site.  As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations. Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

Salary Range
The base salary for a HEW Level 4 is in the range $73,623 - $77,680 per annum, plus 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $86,139 - $90,886 per annum.
