As an HDR Student Teaching Fellow at the Associate Lecturer level, you'll play an integral role in the undergraduate teaching efforts of Griffith University. This position not only allows you to develop your teaching skills in higher education settings but also provides the support of an academic supervisor to help you grow and gain autonomy throughout your employment.
In this integrated paid work experience opportunity, you'll be involved in a combination of teaching and professional development. You'll work towards seeking recognition of your experience and skills through the Advance HE Professional Standards Framework, ensuring you gain valuable qualifications and build a solid foundation for your academic career. This role is specifically designed for Griffith HDR students who aspire to enhance their teaching capabilities while contributing to the university's educational mission.
On campus, face-to-face teaching is required and the work patterns for the part-time position is expected to reflect the teaching requirements of the role.

About you
The successful candidate will be enrolled in a Griffith HDR program post confirmation.
You will also have:
- Demonstrated ability to teach disciplines within the School of Environment and Science.
- Experience in undergraduate teaching and a proven ability to facilitate high-quality, student-centred learning activities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive, respectful relationships with students and staff
Candidates must have full unrestricted Australian work rights and may be subject to a National criminal history check.
What we can offer
This is a fixed term (up to two years, actual duration will be dependent on your HDR program completion date), part time (10% or 20%) positions primarily based at Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) or Gold Coast, dependent on discipline location. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be Associate Lecturer, Level A range $79,984.92 - $107,561.91 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $93,582.35 - $125,847.43 per annum.
