About the Opportunity
This role provides project and operational support to the School of Engineering and Built Environment, with a strong focus on engaging new industries to secure paid student internships within the advanced program. It contributes to key priorities and strategic initiatives while facilitating communication and coordination across internal and external stakeholders, acting as a central contact for project-related matters. The position also supports the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of initiatives, promoting consistency, transparency, and efficiency across operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement policies, processes, and frameworks that clearly define stakeholder roles and responsibilities to support effective program delivery.
- Monitor and support achievement of program KPIs through structured tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a central coordination point between students, industry partners, and internal university services to ensure seamless program delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective industry partners.
- Collaborate with central university teams to create and facilitate paid student placement opportunities.
- Ensure alignment between academic program requirements and industry expectations.
- Coordinate training, development activities, and events to enhance student readiness for industry placements.
- Organise networking and engagement opportunities with industry representatives.
- Provide consistent communication, guidance, and support to students throughout the program.
- Design, implement, and maintain systems, documentation, and processes to support program operations.
- Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce administrative workload.
- Prepare and deliver reports on program performance and key metrics to the School Executive.
- Support the School Manager and Program Director with operational and strategic activities related to program delivery.

- Demonstrated ability to work within complex environments and coordinate multiple stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with a track record of building and improving sustainable processes and systems.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience in program coordination, stakeholder engagement, or a similar role within education or industry partnerships.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and consistent messaging to both internal and external audiences.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.

This is a full time, fixed term opportunity for 2 years based at Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations

Salary
HEW 6 – Base range - $94,966.18 - $101,295.51+ 17% super. Full package range - $111,110.42 - $118,515.75.
