Job Overview

Bulletproof is looking for a Business Development Manager to help drive our business growth trajectory. The Business Development Manager is a highly collaborative role that will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing strategic growth opportunities for Bulletproof across priority retail and distribution channels. This role focuses on expanding distribution, unlocking new partnerships, and accelerating incremental revenue through disciplined account development, customer collaboration, and cross-functional leadership.

 

The Business Development Manager will report to the VP of Retail Sales and will serve as a key growth driver, working closely with Sales, Category Management, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to bring high-impact opportunities from concept to execution. This role requires a strong understanding of the CPG landscape, retailer dynamics, and Bulletproofs brand positioning to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and execute new business opportunities that drive incremental revenue and distribution growth across priority retail, and emerging channels.
  • Develop strategic account plans and business cases for new retailers, distribution partners, and expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Lead end-to-end commercialization of new partnerships, from initial pitch and negotiations through onboarding, launch, and post-launch performance evaluation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Category Management, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment on pricing, assortment, promotional strategy, and operational readiness.
  • Own retailer and partner negotiations related to distribution, pricing, trade terms, and growth initiatives in alignment with Bulletproofs margin and brand objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer insights to inform opportunity prioritization and growth strategies.
  • Partner with Marketing and Trade Marketing to develop customer-specific activation plans that drive velocity, trial, and brand awareness.
  • Track, forecast, and report on new business pipeline performance, launch results, and ROI against growth targets.
  • Represent Bulletproof as a strategic partner, building long-term relationships that support sustainable, mutually beneficial growth.
  • Ensure all new business initiatives align with Bulletproofs brand standards, quality commitments, and operational capabilities.
