Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Test Lead to manage end-to-end testing activities for the CCP Peru project. The candidate will lead a team of testers, ensure high-quality deliverables, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in a dynamic onsite environment in Mexico.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the testing lifecycle including test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting
• Define test strategy, test plans, and test cases aligned with project requirements
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, developers, and offshore teams
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines, and delivery milestones
• Track and report test progress, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership
• Drive automation adoption where applicable and improve testing efficiency
• Manage defect triage calls and ensure timely resolution
• Mentor and guide team members, ensuring productivity and quality
• Support UAT and production validation phases
• Pega testing experience would be an added advantage
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 8–12 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2–3 years in a Test Lead role (Pega testing preferrable)
• Strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC, and QA methodologies
• Experience in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, TestRail)
• Good understanding of automation frameworks (Selenium or similar)
• Exposure to API testing, database testing, and integration testing
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience working in onsite-offshore model
Preferred Skills
• Experience in Banking domain-specific projects
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Spanish language proficiency (nice to have for Mexico/Peru coordination)
ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH ESSENTIAL (Will be evaluated).
