Join the Global Markets IT - Front Office eFX squad team, responsible for providing comprehensive IT services to the Global Markets team. This squad manages support, change requests, and projects for Global Markets. The e-FX FO Support Analyst will be key to defining and owning strategic initiatives for e-FX support, including pricing, risk management, and distribution connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Initiative Ownership: Take ownership and accountability end-to-end for various initiatives, including analysis, developing requirements, reviewing technical and functional designs, building, testing, and ensuring proper closure.
- Support & Operations:
- Be part of the team managing the operational and technical delivery of business requirements.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of initiatives and their global marketing, working closely with e-FX client services, GM sales, and product services.
- Assist in supporting the Market Data Platform and deal Straight-Through Processing (STP) solutions.
- Manage the new product approval process for all product/platform developments.
- Participate in and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new product rollouts.
- Product & Strategy:
- Assist with developing and creating specifications for new client-facing products aimed at aiding clients and trading, considering the changing regulatory environment.
- Assist and influence e-FX management heads in the book of work and strategic plan for Global Markets and product offerings.
- Ensure product offerings are at least as capable as competitor offerings by understanding the competitive landscape.
- Ensure existing product offerings are aligned with changing market standards and technology enhancements.
- Assist in developing and specifying new trader and sales platforms to effectively assist with the risk management of client flows.
Requirements
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an eFX Front Office Support Role.
- Extensive experience supporting top-tier Treasury Systems.
- Relevant work experience in a Bank or I.T. Company for a minimum of 5-7 years.
- Experience in supporting 24x7 systems is desirable.
- Experience with products like Maxxtrader and Refinitiv is desirable.
- Good understanding of the financial markets, trading, and banking solutions.
- Strong knowledge of the Global Markets products and practices (front-to-end: pricing, limit checks, booking, risk management).
- Must be technically astute with relevant exposure and experience with bank systems and processes.
- Strong proven track record of liaising with stakeholders for business requirements, specification documents, and testing processes.
- Hands-on experience with testing automation - UI Path.
- Basic skills in Unix command line and SQL Database usage, including basic shell scripting.
Education
- A postgraduate degree or qualification in Information Systems / Engineering / Business Administration is preferred.
