Class 5 Driver

At Hall's, we are looking for multiple reliable and flexible Class 5 Drivers to join our team at our Christchurch depot, who can be the friendly face of our business and deliver chilled or frozen freight along with outstanding service for our customers and their customers.

The run will see the successful applicant servicing our Night Linehaul run for the network. Days of work will vary depending on business requirements, and start times are ordinarily 19:30. Applicants need to be flexible and comfortable with working away from home. 

Delivering with Care

• Conduct pre-trip safety and temperature checks.
• Ensure safe loading, unloading, and secure deliveries.
• Follow efficient routes and provide on-time service.
• Complete accurate paperwork and report any issues.

Looking After Your Truck

• Perform daily checks and report maintenance needs.
• Drive safely and efficiently, using equipment properly.
• Keep your truck clean and fuelled.

Great Customer Service

• Communicate in a friendly and professional manner.
• Represent Hall’s with pride

In this role you will see yourself delivering chilled & frozen food to businesses within the wider Canterbury region, this will include manual lifting and hand unloads, checking temperature settings, ensuring accuracy of documentation and completing daily vehicle checks.
