Registered Nurse - Brief Assessment Service

The Mental Health Program continues to advance its established model of care in partnership with the Emergency Department to enhance patient care and timely access to services. We are seeking nurses who are passionate about the art and science of emergency mental health nursing to join our dedicated team.

The successful candidate will perform comprehensive mental health and risk assessments, provide one-to-one supportive interventions, and deliver high-quality medical care. This role requires full-scope nursing practice, aligned with the College of Nurses of Ontario Practice Standards.

BAS nurses report to the Mental Health & Addiction Program and work collaboratively with the Emergency Department, inpatient programs, and a broad network of hospital and community partners
