Job Overview

Responsible for the production and cooking of food for Patient Food Services. Responsible for the monitoring of food quality throughout the preparation, cooking and serving process. This includes following standardized recipes, ensuring proper portion control, plating, food temperature monitoring and recording and appearance.

Maintains the cleanliness of all work areas, refrigerators, blast chiller and other equipment. Ensure that while working in all production and service areas that proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed. Temperatures are monitored throughout all preparation and cooking processes in conjunction with HACCP guidelines.
