The Customer & Community Unit is the connection between the various units within the Council and its residents and customers. We pride ourselves on being both the voice of the customer, and the face of the organisation. 

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our residents and customers - no two days are ever the same in our world.

You will be kept busy processing requests for service and enquiries. Using the knowledge gained from your training and within our Knowledge Base, you will interpret facts and deliver on individual customer requests on a case-by-case basis specific to their needs.

We offer a friendly and inviting team environment with full training and ongoing support. We are looking for someone to work in our After-Hours team supporting our councils across the Waikato. This is role is for 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with family-friendly hours that fit well around school drop-off and pick-up times.

This is a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and experience of a variety of council's business functions within a contact center environment.
