First Aid Tutor

He aha te tūranga - About the role: 

As a Hato Hone St John First Aid Tutor you will deliver First Aid courses to our key business customers and to the general public. This includes First Aid, as well as our Mental Health First Aid programme. 

We are looking for a confident, motivated First Aid Tutor with a passion for the delivery of high-quality training, in a way that engages attendees and delivers great results for our customers. Although desirable, previous experience as a first aid tutor isn't mandatory.

• Permanent, full-time position.
• Home base of 318 Lambton Quay. Travel to off-site location/s via pool car.
• Roster available at least 1 month in advance.

We deliver courses 7 days a week so, although not regular, some weekend work is necessary. Your days can be long so you will need to be available outside of a usual 9-5 day. We ensure you are given rostered days/hours off to compensate for any additional hours.

Your hard work will be rewarded by a great starting salary of $62,944 (pro rata, equates to $30.26/hour), with an increase once signed off to teach independently to $64,504 (pro rata, equates to $31.01/hour).
