Job Summary

The Aviation Warehouse Order Clerk supports daily warehouse operations by processing orders, receiving and inspecting incoming materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring aerospace components are properly documented, stored, and issued in accordance with company procedures and aviation quality standards. This role plays an important part in maintaining organized warehouse operations and supporting production and customer order fulfillment.

Required Skills and Abilities

Experience working with inventory control or warehouse management systems

Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling aviation components and documentation

Ability to follow established procedures related to aerospace material handling and traceability

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to work collaboratively with departments including purchasing, quality, and production

Good communication and problem solving skills

Basic computer proficiency for inventory systems and order processing

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required

Previous warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience preferred

Experience working with aerospace or regulated inventory environments is a plus

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods

Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds

Ability to safely operate standard warehouse equipment and perform routine material handling tasks

Duties and Responsibilities

·       Pick parts for work orders and ensure materials are issued accurately to production

·       Complete and maintain stock record sheets to ensure proper inventory tracking and traceability

·       Cut parts as required to support production and manufacturing needs

·       Perform daily morning cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies

·       Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities, part numbers, and documentation against purchase orders and packing lists

·       Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies and report any issues according to company procedures

·       Properly label, document, and store aviation parts to maintain traceability and compliance with aerospace standards

·       Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring materials are protected and properly documented

·       Process domestic and international shipments, including preparing shipping documentation and coordinating with carriers

·       Maintain organized warehouse locations to support efficient picking, packing, and material handling

·       Support inventory accuracy by assisting with cycle counts, stock replenishment, and inventory control activities

·       Communicate shipping, receiving, or inventory discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor or department

·       Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in accordance with company safety standards

·       Perform additional warehouse or logistics duties as assigned
