Part Time Nurse Practitioner

At HealthBar, we partner with organizations to deliver proactive, accessible healthcare in an employer-based clinic setting. This model allows Nurse Practitioners to practice with a high degree of autonomy while remaining supported by a collaborative care team. 


Position Overview 

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to a defined patient population within an employer-sponsored clinic. Your work will focus on preventive care, chronic condition management, and addressing acute health needs — all within a predictable, weekday schedule. 


This role offers a non-traditional care environment that prioritizes continuity, trust, and quality of care. 


Schedule

  • Monday, 10am - 6pm
  • Wednesday, 10am – 6pm
  • Friday, 10am - 6pm
  • Start and end times are flexible

What You’ll Do 

  • Provide advanced clinical support including acute and episodic care, primary preventive care, and chronic disease management 
  • Collaborate with HPP nurses on claims analysis 
  • Establish clinical pathways and treatment protocols 
  • Conduct telehealth visits as needed 
  • Coordinate care with patients’ external provider networks 
  • Act as a clinical consultant while upholding exceptional standards of care 
  • Maintain required licensure and certifications 

 

What You Bring 

Required Qualifications 

  • Master’s degree in Nursing (from an accredited program) 
  • Active, unrestricted Michigan RN license 
  • Active, unrestricted FNP certification (AANP or ANCC) 
  • Active Michigan NP Specialty Certification 
  • 2+ years of nursing experience (med-surg, ER, ICU, acute care, public health, school nursing, or outpatient preferred) 
  • BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) within 90 days of hire 


Preferred Qualifications 

  • DOT Examiner Certification (or willingness to train) 
  • Additional specialty certifications encouraged (Health Coaching, Case Management, Primary Care, Emergency/Hospital-based specialties, Women’s/Men’s Health, Sports Medicine)
