Job Overview

Your core responsibilities encompass:

  • Lead the Group Accounting team, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial accounting and reporting in line with Group policies and core values.
  • Ultimately responsible for financial accounting and reporting activities within the parent- and group management companies including financial reporting to group, monthly and quarterly closing, tax reporting.
  • Coordinate and ensure efficient local audits, tax reporting and other statutory matters aligned with internal Group timeline.
  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with key business partners and departments, working closely with Business Control, Tax, and Treasury.
  • Position Group Accounting as a “sandbox” for testing and developing best practices for new routines, procedures, and software.
  • Enable Group Accounting employees to become superusers in group software and explore best practices.
  • Participate in the development and rollout of new accounting procedures and software, and represent the user perspective in various forums.
  • Act as a key discussion partner on broader business processes, including transactions, acquisitions, and business cases, etc.
  • Continue to implement Dynamics 365 for all Group Accounting portfolio entities.
