We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Associate to join our Finance team and play a key role in driving our financial strategy and operational excellence.
What you will be doing
- Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts.
- Coordinate with external auditors to support the year end audit process.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business projections.
- Provide input into strategic planning, decision-making, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Preparation of IFRS 17 Financial statements.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on budgets, variances, and key financial drivers.
- Lead and manage special projects as assigned by management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and efficiency.
- Prepare clear, insightful reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
What we are looking for
- ACA qualified accountant (or equivalent), ideally from a Big 4 firm.
- Solid working knowledge of IFRS 17 and its implications for insurance accounting.
- Demonstrable experience in the general insurance sector.
- Strong experience in management accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Proven ability to prepare accurate financial projections and analytical reports.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
