HelloKindred is looking for a Global Business Development Lead (Marketing Services Account-Based Growth) to join our dynamic commercial partner team based in Johannesburg, South Africa (hybrid). This role reports to our Chief Commercial Officer and serves as a senior commercial leadership position responsible for driving revenue growth through a combination of new business acquisition and global strategic Account-Based Sales (ABS). The role leads end-to-end ABS programmes across a defined portfolio of high-value international accounts or a single global enterprise client while delivering new client acquisition. The successful candidate operates as a strategic partner to global clients, building deep relationships and unlocking long-term commercial value.
What you will do:
- Design and execute end-to-end Global Account-Based Sales strategies for priority accounts across 1:1 and 1:few models.
- Develop deep account intelligence, stakeholder maps, and tailored value propositions.
- Drive multi-threaded engagement across global senior stakeholders.
- Lead long-cycle nurture programmes and convert engagement into revenue.
- Identify, target, and win new and dormant client opportunities.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
- Collaborate with service lines on solution design and delivery models.
- Act as a trusted advisor to key global clients (C suite and Senior level).
- Identify and drive global account expansion and cross-sell opportunities.
- Partner with global delivery teams to ensure a seamless and high-quality client experience.
- Partner with marketing to deliver targeted, account-based campaigns.
- Contribute to thought leadership and market positioning.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
- Track global Account-Based Sales success metrics including engagement, stakeholder coverage, and opportunity progression.
- Deliver against revenue and activity targets aligned to commercial OKRs.
