Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a highly experienced S/4HANA – Coupa Integration Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex global integrations across procurement and finance systems. This role will focus on enabling seamless integration between Coupa and SAP S/4HANA environments, supporting indirect procurement processes across large-scale, global organizations. The position requires a hands-on technical expert with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, able to operate in fast-paced, outcome-driven environments.
What you will do:
- Lead the design and delivery of global integrations between Coupa and SAP S/4HANA from initial architecture through cutover and hypercare.
- Develop and manage APIs using REST, JSON, and OData, ensuring robust schema design, error handling, and performance optimization.
- Configure and support Coupa integrations including supplier onboarding, master data synchronization, approvals, tax, receiving, invoicing, and payment status updates.
- Design and implement SAP integration artefacts including IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and ALE interfaces.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT to translate complex integration requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Integrate procurement and finance processes across SAP S/4HANA modules including Procurement, MM, and FI-AP.
- Utilize integration platforms such as SAP Integration Suite, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Azure Integration Services to build and monitor integrations.
- Ensure integration security through implementation of OAuth2, mTLS, certificates, and key management practices.
- Monitor integration performance using observability tools and dashboards, implementing alerting and traceability mechanisms.
- Implement CI and CD pipelines for integration deployments using version control and automation tools.
- Manage dependencies, environments, and delivery timelines across multiple integration workstreams.
- Support testing activities including interface validation and test automation where applicable.
- Work effectively within Agile environments, collaborating with upstream and downstream systems such as MDG and ServiceNow.
