Job description
HG is accelerating rapidly in e-commerce, and we are looking for a Head of Online who will lead our European online growth across marketplaces such as Amazon, bol.com, Allegro and other Pure Play and Brick & Click partners. In this role, you take full ownership of the online strategy, plan incl. P&L and growth roadmap. You will drive digital performance, improve online sales, visibility and scale HG.eu in this key commercial channel.
This is a strategic and hands-on role. You shape the long-term vision while also ensuring smooth execution with your team. You will lead a motivated online team spanning the Netherlands and the United Kingdom and improve online sales, visibility and scale HG.eu in this key commercial channel and ultimately drive HG’s more online transformation.
What you will do
Own the full ecommerce P&L, including strategy, annual plans and digital marketing budget (SEO, SEA, platform investments).
Drive profitable growth across Amazon, bol.com, Allegro and other marketplaces, while taking direct responsibility for elevating the relationship with Amazon.
Increase visibility and conversion through performance marketing, SEO, SEA and content optimisation.
Oversee digital content creation, deployment and channel execution for maximum impact.
Identify opportunities that increase ROI, accelerate digital expansion and improve online performance.
Track and report KPIs, results and forecasts to guide decision-making and leadership alignment.
Align markets, platforms, brand, media, sales, finance and supply chain to enable seamless execution.
Lead and develop the ecommerce, digital marketing and content teams in NL and the UK.
Build a data-driven, collaborative and results-focused digital culture.
You will play a critical role in shaping and executing HG’s online strategy and report directly to the Commercial Director.
