HG is the market leader within the specialist cleaning category and has built strong and long-standing partnerships with major retail accounts. With a dominant position in the Dutch market and significant growth over recent years, HG products can already be found in over 70% of households. Yet the potential for further growth is substantial. Our ambition is clear: increase the number of HG products per household and unlock the full opportunity of the category.
To accelerate this next growth phase, we are looking for a Senior Category Development Manager who will lead the development, translation, and implementation of the categories strategy, both internally and with our retail partners. This is a role where you can truly make an impact, working in an organisation with short decision lines, entrepreneurial spirit, and room for new initiatives.
In this position, you will lead the Category Development Manager and report directly to the Commercial Director NL.
What you will do
Define and execute the category vision and strategy for the Dutch market.
Translate market and shopper insights (Nielsen/IRI/GfK) into clear growth opportunities and actions.
Develop and optimize assortment, shelf layouts, and activation plans for key retailers.
Act as HG’s category expert in strategic customer meetings and business reviews.
Build business cases that drive category and retailer growth.
Coach and lead the Category Development Manager.
