PIM System Specialist

We’re looking for an experienced PIM System Specialist to manage, optimize, and maintain product data across multiple channels. This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience working with Product Information Management (PIM) systems and can hit the ground running to streamline product onboarding, data consistency, and multichannel integrations.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate, high-quality product data that drives operational efficiency and supports marketing, e-commerce, and sales initiatives. If you’ve previously managed PIM platforms (like Catsy, Akeneo, Salsify, or similar), this role is for you.

🧩 What You’ll Be Doing

📦 Product Data Management

• Oversee product onboarding, enrichment, and maintenance within the PIM system.
• Centralize product information to ensure consistency across e-commerce, ERP, and marketing platforms.
• Manage data validation, cleaning, and quality assurance to maintain accuracy and completeness.

🧠 System Optimization & Governance

• Maintain and enhance data mapping, workflows, and automation rules within the PIM system.
• Support data governance initiatives by establishing naming conventions, validation rules, and approval processes.
• Optimize multi-channel data distribution for marketplaces, websites, and internal systems.

🔗 Integration & Collaboration

• Work with IT, marketing, and product teams to manage system integrations (ERP, CMS, DAM, etc.).
• Provide technical support and user training to internal teams using the PIM system.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify data gaps and streamline operations.

📊 Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure real-time updates and synchronization between systems.
• Analyze data accuracy and report on system performance.
• Identify process improvements to enhance data flow and reduce manual work.

✅ Who You Are

• 3–5+ years of experience working with PIM (Product Information Management) platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Catsy, Akeneo, Salsify, InRiver, or similar systems.
• Strong understanding of data structures, mapping, and governance principles.
• Proven ability to manage large datasets with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable with integration workflows and multi-channel data management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Self-starter who thrives in structured yet fast-moving environments.

Bonus Points

• Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce).
• Knowledge of API integrations or middleware tools.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau).
