Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician specializing in Pulmonary Medicine to join our team as a Remote Telemedicine Specialist. This is a 100% remote role focused exclusively on providing expert virtual consultation, diagnosis, and management of complex respiratory disorders, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and interstitial lung disease (ILD) to our adult and pediatric members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct confidential virtual medical consultations (video call) focusing on the assessment, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of pulmonary conditions, including: refractory asthma, severe COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, chronic cough, respiratory infections, and evaluation of abnormal chest imaging.

  • Perform accurate remote assessment and differential diagnosis of complex respiratory symptoms (e.g., dyspnea, hemoptysis, chronic hypoxia).

  • Develop and deliver evidence-based, specialty-specific treatment plans, including optimizing inhaler therapies, managing complex oral medications, and issuing electronic prescriptions following all regulatory guidelines.

  • Review and interpret diagnostic studies such as comprehensive Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), chest X-rays, CT scans of the chest, and oximetry/home sleep study results to guide virtual care.

  • Coordinate care and execute timely, appropriate referrals for cases requiring in-person evaluation, bronchoscopy, pulmonary rehabilitation, or initiation of specialized positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy.

  • Offer specialized preventive care advice related to smoking cessation, occupational lung exposure risk mitigation, and vaccination schedules for high-risk respiratory patients.

  • Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential digital health records (EHR) in compliance with privacy and ethical standards.

  • Perform wellness seminars and provide expertise on topics related to lung health and effective respiratory management for our members.

Qualifications:

  • Medical doctor with PRC license from the Philippines.

  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine is required.

  • Fellowship training and Board Certification/Eligibility in Pulmonary Disease is required.

  • Proven expertise in the diagnosis and medical management of acute and chronic respiratory disorders.

  • Prior telemedicine experience, particularly in a specialty field, is a significant advantage.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex medical information clearly and empathetically over video.
