Commercial Concreter

You will be assisting with the efficient and safe delivery of commercial concrete projects across the Bay of Plenty, working on slabs, foundations, and structural concrete elements. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows the job and can work independently while still being a solid team player.

Located in Tauranga, this is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday, with an hourly rate of $28–$30. Overtime and weekend work may be required as needed.

What you will be doing:

• Constructing commercial concrete slabs, foundations, and structural elements
• Setting up formwork and site layouts from plans
• Placing, screeding, compacting, finishing, and curing concrete to spec
• Operating machinery such as laser screeds and trowelling machines
• Applying strong knowledge of mix designs, slab types, timing, and finishes
• Caring for and maintaining Base Up tools, vehicles, and equipment
• Keeping worksites safe, tidy, and up to company and client standards
• Recording job details, photos, and notes using Buildertrend
• Completing HR and H&S forms via TeamMate
• Working across different divisions when required
