Contract Duration: 2 months

Job Summary We are looking for a experienced E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all electrical and instrumentation activities during the upcoming shutdown/turnaround. The Supervisor will ensure all work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with SABIC standards, project specifications, and industrial safety protocols. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to manage teams in a high-pressure shutdown environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate E&I technicians, electricians, and instrument technicians during shutdown activities.

  • Ensure all electrical and instrumentation jobs comply with SABIC specifications, drawings, and ITP/QCP requirements.

  • Oversee maintenance, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of E&I equipment.

  • Manage loop checking, continuity tests, insulation resistance tests (IR), function testing, and instrument calibration.

  • Monitor and verify work related to motors, switchgear, MCCs, transformers, field instruments, transmitters, control valves, analyzers, junction boxes, and cabling.

  • Review job packages, work permits, and ensure proper implementation of LOTO procedures.

  • Coordinate with planners, QA/QC, safety officers, and operations for smooth execution.

  • Ensure timely completion of shutdown tasks within the planned schedule.

  • Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and rework.

  • Prepare daily progress reports, manpower allocation, and update status to site management.

  • Verify material availability, tools, test equipment, and ensure calibration certificates are valid.

  • Enforce strict safety compliance, PPE usage, and SABIC work permit requirements.
