Safety Officer (400kV OHTL Projects) – Bangladesh

We are currently hiring an experienced Safety Officer for ongoing 400kV and above Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) Projects in Bangladesh.

Mandatory Requirements:

• B.Tech in Engineering from a regular, recognized college (Mandatory)

• NEBOSH – All 3 Levels completed (Mandatory)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in OHTL projects (400kV and above preferred)

• Experience in installation and/or commissioning project safety

Key Responsibilities & Competencies:

• Lead and manage a team of HSE personnel including HSE Officers, Hygiene Officers, etc.

• Strong understanding of HSE Management Systems and legislative requirements

• Develop and implement:

  • HSE Plans

  • Welfare Plans

  • Emergency Response Procedures

  • Site-specific HSE procedures and work instructions

• Practical experience in implementation of SSOW (PTW, WMS, Risk Assessment, etc.)

• Conduct HSE training and awareness sessions as per scope of work

• Perform HSE audits and site inspections

• Investigate incidents and identify immediate as well as root causes

• Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking)

• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
